"We Can Play" Girls' Spring Basketball League Is Back!

We are all set to begin our annual "We Can Play" Spring girls basketball league.  This year, we will have 7 teams in our Professional Division (ages 11-13).  We have some returning teams as well as some new teams.  Please visit us each week to check out the weekly standings.   Games begin this coming Friday, April 4th at 6pm at Tom Sykes Recreation Center in the Dilworth area!

Here are the teams:

1. Lake Norman Wildcats

2. Lady Sting

3. QC Jewels 11U

4. QC Jewels 10U

5. Hines Association

6. Carolina Lady Hoopsters

7. Lady Blazers 

This season will feature a 6-game season followed by an All-star game and single elimination tournament!   Feel free to join us every Friday at Tom Sykes to see these young ladies in action!

 
Women's Field Hockey Now In Charlotte!

As the city of Charlotte continues to grow, we are becoming more and more diverse in our health and sports offerings.  We would like to highlight a sport that is primarily seen in the North, but is gaining more exposure here in the South - Women's Field Hockey!  There's a new league and we would love to see you involved!
